Flight is suitable for diving in water with a temperature above 50°F / 10°C.

This is perfect for those warmer, exotic travel destinations, but Apeks confirms

it is equally suitable for waters as cold as 50°F / 10°C. They are the most compact Apeks regulators ever made – small yet fully loaded with high performance and comfort. Flight is ideal for every dive journey from a visit to your local dive site to an exotic trip overseas.

Apeks XTX 200 Tungsten

The XTX Tunsgsten regulator is based on Apek’s very popular limited edition Black Pearl and advances the design from the ATX Tungsten. With its own definite look, it has a very different luxurious but hard-wearing PVD coating finish to the Black Pearl. The operating design is based on the highly successful Apeks XTX200 which has proven its ability as a world beating regulator in its own right. The XTX Tungsten is a blend of a very high performance piece of equipment with exceptional good looks and the strength to put up with the rigours of diving. The perfect combination for a top regulator. The ATX Tungsten was a hard regulator. XTX Tungsten is still hard.  

The' High Tec' grades of Chromium, Titanium, and Zirconium give this regulator an extremely hard, low-friction Diamond PVD finish (Physical Vapour Deposition - a computer controlled process that guarantees performance and reproducibility). PVD offers extreme protection and high resistance to wear. The XTX Tungsten is suitable for use with up to 40% oxygen as standard and can be cleaned suitable for 100% O2.

• The XTX Tungsten features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE). This system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. This gives the user a choice, wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact comfortable regulator. The regulator will be supplied with both sets of exhaust tees
• The XTX Tungsten can be converted from a right handed hose configuration to a left handed one. The process of changing the regulator to a left handed configuration is both quick and simple. However this procedure MUST only be performed by an Apeks Authorized Service Technician
• The ergonomic Venturi lever of the XTX range has been designed to reduce the amount of grit ingress
• Available in yoke or din configuration
• A new silicone exhaust valve has been used on the XTX demand regulator range. This new valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator
